Cats Chorus 'Cats Chorus' was launched in 1994 by Nickelodeon for Nick Junior - Cable & Sky Television. The television series is geared toward pre-school children with lively song and dance activities. The 'Cats Chorus' consisted of a group of four alley cats called Mimi, Fat Cat, Nat and Little C, who sang original songs daily for kids to join in with.
Sally of Mimics Productions designed and made the cat characters for this television programme. Sally constructed the larger than life size puppets of the four 'Cats Chorus' characters from her designs using various colours and shades of fur fabric. Each cat had a different musical skill: Little C played his red nose, Nat played his tail, Mimi played her whiskers and Fat Cat his tummy! |
