Fun Song Factory

The 'Fun Song Factory' was launched in 1996 by Tell-Tale Productions.

It is geared toward children aged two to six years old and features lots of songs and rhymes for everyone to join in and sing along to.

The colourful characters include Ozzy Octave - the fuzzy Fun Song Factory foreman, Fred Q Tixer the factory fixer, Sally the Cat - the cook and cleaner, The Singing Paint Pots, Bump the Elephant and many others.

During Fun Song Factory's two year history Mimics Productions have been involved with all but two Fun Song Factory videos, twenty six television programmes commissioned by GMTV and the Fun Song Factory 'Live on Stage' performance.

In 1995 'The Fun Song Factory' won the 'gold award' from Parenting Magazine for 'Best Children's Video' beating off competition from the likes of Disney, Rupert and others.

When the series went to television in 1999 it received a BAFTA nomination for the 'Best Pre-School Programme'.

For the Fun Song Factory videos and GMTV series Sally designed and constructed the larger than life props. And for the 'Live on Stage' production, they made the stage props and constructed the Father Christmas, reindeer and sleigh Ultra Violet light puppets.
